In the era of social distancing and travel restrictions the personal touch evoked by a hand written note has taken on a whole new power.
No desk should be without a supply of blank cards and envelopes ready for all those unexpected occasions. Ideal for writing thoughtful thank-you notes or simply letting a friend know you are thinking of them.
Featuring linocuts made during lockdown these packs of 6 blank cards are the ideal accompaniment to your stationary cupboard.
The linocut Leopard depicted on these cards was drawn from an eighteenth century ceramic model on display at the Fitzwilliam Museum in Cambridge. Made by the Derby factory c.1760 and demonstrating a curiosity for the exotic or far-away during the age of the Enlightenment. Rory added the oversized blooms inspired by a bouquet seen on a Sevres porcelain charger in the same collection.
