The Collector’s House
I’ve always been fascinated by the way interiors reflect the lives lived within them, especially historic rooms layered with generations of memory. My new collection, The Collector’s House, is inspired by three such spaces — the Country Kitchen, the Drawing Room and the Boudoir. Each scarf draws on my love of interiors, collecting and storytelling, with details from my own collection alongside imagined pieces inspired by stately homes and auction houses.
Gardening in Silk and Linocut — The Highgrove Celebrated Scarf
A deeply personal design, the Highgrove Celebrated Scarf captures the beauty of eight iconic gardens at Highgrove through hand-carved linocuts and intricate storytelling. This new silk scarf continues Rory Hutton’s long-standing love affair with gardens — crafted not in soil, but in silk and lino block.
Rory Hutton x Penhaligon’s: Celebrating 155 Years of Fragrance and Heritage in Silk
A celebration of scent and storytelling: this year I had the rare opportunity to collaborate not with a museum or opera house, but with a heritage fragrance house — Penhaligon’s. Known for their whimsical yet refined approach to perfumery, they invited me to reimagine their history through silk and print. The result? A design that captures the eccentricity, elegance, and enduring magic of one of Britain’s most beloved brands.
A Scarf Celebrating Dame Rosalind Savill
Celebrate the life and legacy of Dame Rosalind Savill with a commemorative scarf — supporting future scholars in the decorative arts.
The Black & White Collection: Inspired by Classical Design
This range of silk scarves is inspired by my visits to some of Britain’s most beautiful stately homes, where I spent hours sketching intricate details in my notebooks.
