On the 125th anniversary of Oscar Wilde’s death, Rory Hutton’s exhibition Oscar Wilde 125: Reimagining the House Beautiful opened at Shapero Modern. Inspired by Wilde’s writing, wit and love of decoration, the show brings together scarves, prints, blue and white china and a fan designed in collaboration with Rockcoco Fans.

Known for their whimsical yet refined approach to perfumery, they invited me to reimagine their history through silk and print. The result? A design that captures the eccentricity, elegance, and enduring magic of one of Britain’s most beloved brands.
