Inspired by the warmth and character of the English country house, Country Kitchen 90 celebrates the layered interiors and everyday objects that give a well-loved kitchen its particular charm.
Labradors doze beside a traditional cast-iron range, surrounded by copper kettles, ceramics, a kilim rug and an assortment of familiar domestic treasures. A playful border of servant bells frames the scene, recalling the life and bustle of the great country house.
Each element began as an original hand-carved linocut by Rory Hutton before being brought together into the finished composition and translated onto silk in Italy.
