A celebration of the equestrian world, Horsey brings together racing, dressage and the paraphernalia of the saddle in a playful arrangement of hand-carved linocuts.
Racehorses and jockeys charge towards the finish line around the border, while dressage horses and riders appear at the centre of the design. Horseshoes, rosettes, riding crops, helmets, boots and snaffle bits complete the composition, creating a scarf filled with details for the horse lover to discover.
Rendered in fresh green, each element was originally drawn, carved and printed by hand as a linocut before being brought together in the finished design and translated onto silk in Italy.
