A celebration of the elegant geometry of neoclassical design, the Adam Silk Shawl takes its inspiration from the work of the great 18th-century Scottish architect Robert Adam.
Drawing upon the intricate ceiling patterns and stylised floral motifs found at Kenwood House, Compton Verney and Osterley Park, Rory translated Adam’s distinctive decorative language into an original pattern for silk.
Rendered in a striking black and white palette, the repeated geometric motif gives the design an architectural precision while remaining wonderfully easy to wear. Its generous proportions make it equally suited to being worn as a shawl, draped over the shoulders or wrapped as an oversized scarf.
