Inspired by the Arts and Crafts movement, the Sunflower Shawl brings together two of the period’s most enduring motifs: stylised sunflowers and pomegranates, arranged in a richly patterned border and repeat.
Created from Rory Hutton’s original linocuts, the design is printed onto silk in deep burgundy and ivory, with a contrasting printed wool reverse in the same colours. The reversal of the pattern creates two distinct sides, while the combination of silk and wool gives the shawl warmth and weight.
Generously proportioned at 68 × 175cm, it can be worn draped over the shoulders, wrapped around the neck or as an elegant evening shawl.
