The Calendar celebrates a year in the English garden, with twelve delicately illustrated floral studies, each representing a month of the year.
Created from Rory Hutton’s original linocuts, each flower is framed in the manner of an eighteenth-century botanical print, surrounded by a border of garden flowers and a string of pearls.
The design was inspired by Rory’s fascination with historic botanical illustrations and the great horticultural libraries of the eighteenth century. The decorative frames draw on sketches made during visits to galleries and historic houses in Tuscany.
In this 45 × 45cm format, The Calendar is ideal worn as a neckerchief or pocket square, bringing a vivid flash of red to an outfit.
Made in Italy from 100% silk and finished with rolled edges.
